Eagle Scouts

We would like to acknowledge five Boy Scouts from Queen of the Apostles Parish, Scout Troop 316 who earned the Eagle Scout Award.  Since 1912 more than two million Boy Scouts have earned this prestigious award – Scouting’s highest rank advancement.  Eagle Scouts exemplify the virtues of service, leadership and duty to God, using their training and influence to better their communities and the world.  Boy Scout Troop 316 of Queen of the Apostles Parish, Avoca held this Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Chancey Bradley, Aidan McGowan, Alex Robbins, Joshua Sepcoski, and Christopher Wells on Tuesday, October 13, 20 15 with a Dinner followed by the Eagle Scout Ceremony.  This special Court of Honor was held at the Glenmaura National Golf Club, Moosic, PA.  Scoutmaster Matt Fino, Boy Scout Troop 316  was the Master of Ceremony for the event.   Rep. Matt Cartwright presented recognition folders to the Scouts as well as Rep. Michael Carroll and  Major General John L. Gronski sent a representative to present commemorative documents.  It was a proud moment for Boy Scout Troop 316 as well as a proud moment for our Queen of the Apostles Parish.
