Within this celebration year of the 150^th Anniversary of the Founding of the Diocese of Scranton, the 1st Annual Catholic Women’s Conference is being held on June 23, 2018 in the Byron Center at the University of Scranton. The conference theme is “Refresh Your Faith” and will provide a day filled with faith, hope and joy for Catholic women of all ages.

Included in the program for the day will be: Judy Klein, who will share the faith she found in the greatest of life’s trials; Father Richard McAlear, known for his healing ministry; and the Nashville music group, His Own, who will inspire participants, through song, to be all that they can be.

(click to follow link) Packets will be sent over the next few months to parishes with bulletin alerts, posters advertising the event, and invitations for groups representing your parish.  A request will also be made for confessors to provide help with the Sacrament of Reconciliation during the course of the day.
